Searle’s Thermal Conductivity Apparatus
To find co-efficient of thermal conductivity of copper, it consists of a 30cm. Long with its one end surrounded with a steam jacket for heating it from a boiler and the other end is kept cool by a steam of water flowing through a spiral tube fitted to the rod, the whole assembly is kept in a wooden case.
